Forged in Canada is a 100% Canadian company located in Perth, Ontario. As the name implies, everything is blacksmithed in Canada. Absolutely every item, whether it be a custom piece or a standard item, is hand forged in Canada using the same techniques that created this great country as the blacksmith worked over the forge. Although most of the items that blacksmiths of years gone by produced are no longer used in our modern world, the same ageless techniques and skills are used to create items for todays customers.

Blacksmithing, Fabrication, Courses and Demonstration
	Using traditional or modern blacksmithing techniques, a customer's vision and requirements are realized whether the project is simple or complex.

	Fabrication is just that: fabrication. Unlike blacksmithing, different skills are utilized to meet the customers demands. Some projects do not require blacksmithing skills but the ability to work metal without the use of fire and hammer.

	Courses are an important part of my business. As a past school teacher, I utilize my skills to instruct and communicate the techniques involved in becoming a blacksmith through personalized courses.

	As a blacksmith and Heritage Presentation specialist with the Rideau Canal National Historic Site of Canada and UNESCO World Heritage Site, I am well versed and trained in the techniques and skills required to communicate my actions as a blacksmith to the pubic through meaningful discussion in manner that is both informative and entertaining.
